Four companies recently joined the ranks of TWIST, each bringing their know-how in a specific field, as well as a willingness to start up partnerships and technological projects: Formateix, WNM, ARC-Cinevideo and Bolex Digital. A quick portrait of these newcomers.
WNM, founded in 1995, is firmly rooted in Liège and offers audiovisual broadcast facilities. The company is specialised in TV sound recording for multicamera captation and for ENG, in intercommunication systems, analog or digital HF transmission systems, and possesses a very high tech material park. They offer consultancy services and run big events such as the soccer world cup or the Olympic Games, for example. They also do the engineering for radio and television studios, for electronics as well as the acoustic treatment of the buildings. Finally, they also offer training courses for audiovisual service providers, television chains and production companies, notably.
For almost 40 years ARC's main activity was the distribution, sale and installation of and the after sales service for professional audio and video equipment. With this experience in mind, ARC-Cinevideo can now take care of audiovisual projects: development, personalised advice, adapted training offer and a professional after sales service, a complete “pack” guaranteeing durability and evolution for the investments. ,
Formateix is a company working in the field of online training courses, multimedia and Webcasting. They record and film courses before putting them online. They also offer a multimedia catalogue of businesses and/or training courses.
Bolex Digital is a company of Swiss origin. They are reputed for their cameras' precision, and today offer a professional digitalisation service. So they digitalise, stabilise and update the colours on 8, 9, 5 and 16mm films in HD. They transfer audiovisual media (analog, on magnetic supports, tapes, etc.) onto 20th Century formats. Finally, they also make microfilms of WEB presentations.
