Who are we?

AXIS-ONE is the product of the merger between ARC Cinevideo, Belgium’s oldest audiovisual company, and Tatou Belgium, the leader on the audiovisual broadcast equipment hire market for the past decade. With over forty years’ experience in the sale and hire of professional audiovisual equipment, ARC became ARC Cinevideo when it came under the Tatou Belgium umbrella back in 2003. The company has specialised in sales, its hire activities having been integrated by Tatou Belgium. Now in 2010, the two companies are quite naturally pooling their skills within a single structure named AXIS-ONE, offering you a one-stop shop for all your professional audiovisual equipment hire and purchase needs.

Sales department

AXIS-ONE distributes all of the major audiovisual broadcast brands and is a SONY Specialist Dealer and Official ARRI Dealer. Our sales department offers you a wide range of Video-Audio and Digital Cinema services ranging from straightforward sales to the full installation of TV control rooms/platforms, the set-up of virtual studios (TV and Web TV), and the audiovisual equipping of lecture theatres and meeting halls. Our abilities encompass all of your needs: from the study of your project to the installation of the equipment, as well as the recommendation of the most suitable technological solutions, the training of your staff and, of course, technical maintenance.

Our vision is that of a long-term partner. Our advice is based on our own experience, that of our clients, and also our complete knowledge of constantly evolving technologies. Courtesy of our particularly flexible structure and extensive network of partners, we orchestrate your projects on a case-by-case basis, surrounding ourselves with competent suppliers and, where applicable, design offices, in order to provide you with a tailor-made technical recommendation. Study, design, installation, training and maintenance are all taken care of, on site or within our own facilities, by qualified staff possessing advanced knowledge of the solutions deployed. Hire department

AXIS-ONE places a large pool of multi-standard hire equipment at your disposal, from ENG cameras and studio cameras to video recorders. Courtesy of our special relationships with the brands and our overview of the image capture process which extends to the end product, we advise our clients every day on the choice of the most suitable standards for their needs. Our particularly vast equipment pool allows us to cater for all requests, including large volumes. Our warehouse also offers you a huge selection of accessories and consumables that are kept permanently in stock.

Need help choosing your equipment? Our teams are at your service to offer you 100% objective advice. Like you, our staff are first and foremost professionals with practical knowledge of the solutions they propose. It is even possible for you to conduct comparative tests within our facilities, assisted by our experts and using suitable measurement and control equipment. And thanks to the synergies in place with our sales department, we are able to provide you with the very latest technology on the market, even if it is not yet, in principle, available for hire due to insufficient demand.

At AXIS-ONE, we give supreme importance to the reliability of the equipment we provide for you. Because we know how much you rely on our equipment, we permanently invest in order to maintain an exceptionally up-to-date equipment pool. We test your equipment before and after hire, and we also have our own maintenance workshops.

Engeneering and repair / After-sales service

At AXIS-ONE, we are not content with just delivering and installing your equipment. Our engineers also check it ahead of delivery, carrying out the necessary adjustments and calibrations. Fine-tuning then takes place on site, under real usage conditions. We know that the reliability of your equipment is vital for you. That’s why we offer you a tailor-made maintenance contract that allows you to have your equipment maintained by qualified technicians, either on site or in our workshops. In the event of prolonged downtime, or to enable you to respond to any interruption of service, we provide you with an equivalent replacement device, at favourable rates and with minimum delay. We maintain special relations with all the brands we distribute. Courtesy of our extensive pool of hire equipment, we also have a sizeable stock of spare parts which, together with our internal technical department (mechanical and electronic workshop), guarantees you fully operational equipment in all circumstances.

Reliability of our hire stock

We give the utmost importance to the reliability of the equipment we provide. Our equipment pool was almost completely renewed in 2009. All devices are systematically tested each time they go out and come back in. Better still, when several units are hired for multi-camera shoots, our maintenance engineer carries out the alignment, calibration and colorimetric adjustment of each camera for you, in order to ensure the unity of the end product. In the event of a technical problem, our technicians are at your disposal to repair your equipment or replace it with an equivalent device.

Duplication / Tape-to-tape transfer and duplication services

AXIS-ONE offers you its transfer and duplication services from and to any format and tape standard. Our qualified technicians possess in-depth knowledge of the SD and HD formats and have the best transfer and duplication equipment at their disposal.

Digitisation and export service for your tape-to-file and file-to-tape services

In today’s digital age, digitising your material or offering you output that meets the highest quality standards is essential. We offer you tailor-made solutions for digitising your film rushes and simplifying the management of large volumes of material in multiple file formats or originating from miscellaneous sources. We supply you with a Final Cut Pro project, indexed and ready to edit, in DVD-R or hard disk formats.

Entrust us with the production of your masters. To provide you with ready-to-broadcast tapes, we take care of not only the transfer of your RED, AVC Intra/P2 HD or Quicktime files but also their quality control.
