DELTACAST launchs the DELTA-hd-e 04, a new four-channel addition to the DELTA-hd (SD/HD SDI) range of video cards for OEM applications.

The DELTA-hd-e 04 completes the highly successful DELTA-hd family, which now contains 10 cards with a single, dual and quad input and/or a single, dual and quad output capability on the same video card, allowing developers to design higher-performing and more economical solutions for a variety of professional video applications.

This new card is not just a completion of the DELTA-hd portfolio, but has new onboard functions that could previously only be found in the DELTA-key family, such as Color space converter for e.g. RGB to YUV, making it an ideal candidate to playout in a coupled mode Fill + Key for dual channel or 3D downstream keyer applications. It is also equipped with the HDMI monitoring outputs, as in the DELTA-3G family.

The DELTA-hd-e 04 requires a PC or server with at least one free four-lane PCI Express slot, will be available for purchase end of June 2011 and will be supported in VideoMasterHD v5.07.
